For season 3 of Kerry Washington's social series, our goal was to emulate the nostalgia and iconography of growing up in the big city. We did this by creating abstract geometric tiles that represent different aspects of city life, such as street signs, plumes of smoke and roads. We paired this with a diverse color palette to reflect the show's theme of the common humanity we share through our own individual journeys.
